With the new year almost here, the kids from Portable Radio have been thinking about second chances. Should we get them? Are they important?

January 2nd… I listened to CBC this morning and heard Aaron and Mohamud’s pieces about second chances. I missed the beginning of the show so I am not sure if CBC aired the other segments of the Point of View. The host of the show, Rita Celli, thanked us for our contributions to the show.
It continues to be a thrill for me to hear our students on the radio. This morning I wondered how many people were listening, right across the country! Great work 56js and 5nt. I am looking forward to more quality shows in 2009.

It was interesting to listen to the students reflect about having second chances. Of course, parents are going to give their children second chances. I am pleased to hear that the students’ relationships can have second chances, too. Well done!!
